“New World Dollar” On October 20th , 2015 The International Monetary Fund is expected to a new reserve currency alternative to the US Dollar.
The dollar’s role as the world’s primary reserve currency 
helps all of us Americans by keeping interest rates low. 
Foreign countries buy United States Treasury debt not just as an investment, but because dollar-denominated assets are the best way to hold foreign exchange reserves.

And on Oct 20th of this year, the IMF is expected to announce a reserve currency alternative to the U.S. dollar, which will send hundreds of billions of dollars moving around the world, literally overnight.

As China moves up the economic pecking order, it has been trying to promote the yuan as an alternative to the U.S. dollar, which has been the dominant global reserve currency since the 1944 Bretton Woods conference.

Currently, China represents around 11 percent of global gross domestic product, more than 10 percent of world trade and nearly 9 percent of total foreign direct investment.

China may have prompted some interest in the subject: “. . . it is perhaps a good time for the befuddled world to start considering building a de-Americanized world,” wrote Liu Chang for China’s official news agency Xinhua.

ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector. The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm. During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation. Law enforcement and intelligence sources report the area around Anapra is dominated by the Vicente Carrillo Fuentes Cartel (“Juárez Cartel”), La Línea (the enforcement arm of the cartel) and the Barrio Azteca (a gang originally formed in the jails of El Paso). Cartel control of the Anapra area make it an extremely dangerous and hostile operating environment for Mexican Army and Federal Police operations. According to these same sources, “coyotes” engaged in human smuggling – and working for Juárez Cartel – help move ISIS terrorists through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico. To the east of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, cartel-backed “coyotes” are also smuggling ISIS terrorists through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing. MORE

Jail for 9 of 10 Ex-Educators
in Atlanta Test-Cheating Case

All but one of 10 former Atlanta public school educators convicted in a widespread conspiracy to inflate student scores on standardized tests were sentenced to jail time Tuesday, and the judge called the cheating scandal "the sickest thing that's ever happened in this town."
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jerry Baxter had delayed sentencing by a day and encouraged all to negotiate deal with prosecutors. But only two agreed to deals. In both those cases, Baxter followed the state's recommendations: He gave a former teacher a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew at home for one year and a former testing coordinator six months of weekends spent in jail. They'll also serve five years on probation.

Despite their lawyers' pleas for probation and community service, the remaining eight received harsher sentences, ranging from one to seven years in jail. They are expected to appeal and will be free on bond while the appeals are pending.

Thank you for all you are doing.

I am a physician. Last fall, I had a very interesting conversation with a patient who is a trucker. I asked her if she knew anything about deep underground military bases, and then I played ignorant to see what she would say.

Without further prompting, she informed me she is an independent contractor trucker, driving 18-wheeler rigs cross-country. She said the bases are real and are located all over the country, "especially under the mountains out West". She said one of her main contracts over the last few years has been with DHS. 

She said there are underground roads running all over the United States, connecting the underground facilities.

She said she has personally delivered many truckloads of supplies to the underground facilities. For each DHS shipment/delivery, there was a stack of non-disclosure forms about (by her description) six inches thick she had to sign.

DHS would attach a tracking device to her truck for each of these shipments and monitor her truck's every move. She would be told where to go to accept delivery for each shipment. In each case, she would be escorted by guards "with machine guns" away from her truck, so she could not see what was being loaded into her rig. The truck would then be locked by a large lock
with a ring 'as big around as your finger", which had to be torch-cut off at the time of delivery.

When she would make deliveries, often within underground facilities, she would again be escorted away from the truck by armed guards, the lock would be cut off, and the goods would be unloaded.

She said the only shipped goods she ever saw in these DHS shipments were stackable black plastic things that looked like coffins.

She told be the gov't is getting ready for a collapse, which she told be she expected might happen as early as late 2014. 

She also told me she thinks the gov't has just about everything is needs stored underground, because the number of DHS shipments has been declining.

I asked her if she would be willing to have lunch with me and tell me more. She replied, "yes", but afterwards when I contacted her, she had changed her mind and would not talk further about it with me.

Another pt of mine, whom I saw within about a week of this lady, is a local trucker, but he told me that he has lots of friends who are truckers, and through them, he said he had learned that there are "thousands of miles of underground roads" running across the country, connecting underground gov't facilities. 

He had just recently, in fact, heard among his trucker friends of a shipment of frozen meat being shipped to one such underground facility, totaling four million pounds of meat.

Scholars will be appearing at the ‘Covert Messiah’ Conference at Conway Hall in London on the 19th of October to present this controversial discovery to the British public.

American Biblical scholar Joseph Atwill will be appearing before the British public for the first time in London on the 19th of October to present a controversial new discovery: ancient confessions recently uncovered now prove, according to Atwill, that the New Testament was written by first-century Roman aristocrats and that they fabricated the entire story of Jesus Christ. His presentation will be part of a one-day symposium entitled “Covert Messiah” at Conway Hall in Holborn (full details can be found athttp://www.covertmessiah.com).

Although to many scholars his theory seems outlandish, and is sure to upset some believers, Atwill regards his evidence as conclusive and is confident its acceptance is only a matter of time. “I present my work with some ambivalence, as I do not want to directly cause Christians any harm,” he acknowledges, “but this is important for our culture. Alert citizens need to know the truth about our past so we can understand how and why governments create false histories and false gods. They often do it to obtain a social order that is against the best interests of the common people.”

Atwill asserts that Christianity did not really begin as a religion, but a sophisticated government project, a kind of propaganda exercise used to pacify the subjects of the Roman Empire. “Jewish sects in Palestine at the time, who were waiting for a prophesied warrior Messiah, were a constant source of violent insurrection during the first century,” he explains.

“When the Romans had exhausted conventional means of quashing rebellion, they switched to psychological warfare. They surmised that the way to stop the spread of zealous Jewish missionary activity was to create a competing belief system. That’s when the ‘peaceful’ Messiah story was invented. Instead of inspiring warfare, this Messiah urged turn-the-other-cheek pacifism and encouraged Jews to ‘give onto Caesar’ and pay their taxes to Rome.”

Was Jesus based on a real person from history? “The short answer is no,” Atwill insists, “in fact he may be the only fictional character in literature whose entire life story can be traced to other sources. Once those sources are all laid bare, there’s simply nothing left.”

Atwill’s most intriguing discovery came to him while he was studying “Wars of the Jews” by Josephus [the only surviving first-person historical account of first-century Judea] alongside the New Testament. “I started to notice a sequence of parallels between the two texts,” he recounts. “Although it’s been recognised by Christian scholars for centuries that the prophesies of Jesus appear to be fulfilled by what Josephus wrote about in the First Jewish-Roman war, I was seeing dozens more.

What seems to have eluded many scholars is that the sequence of events and locations of Jesus ministry are more or less the same as the sequence of events and locations of the military campaign of [Emperor] Titus Flavius as described by Josephus. This is clear evidence of a deliberately constructed pattern. The biography of Jesus is actually constructed, tip to stern, on prior stories, but especially on the biography of a Roman Caesar.”

How could this go unnoticed in the most scrutinised books of all time? “Many of the parallels are conceptual or poetic, so they aren’t all immediately obvious. After all, the authors did not want the average believer to see what they were doing, but they did want the alert reader to see it. An educated Roman in the ruling class would probably have recognised the literary game being played.” Atwill maintains he can demonstrate that “the Roman Caesars left us a kind of puzzle literature that was meant to be solved by future generations, and the solution to that puzzle is ‘We invented Jesus Christ, and we’re proud of it.'”

Is this the beginning of the end of Christianity? “Probably not,” grants Atwill, “but what my work has done is give permission to many of those ready to leave the religion to make a clean break. We’ve got the evidence now to show exactly where the story of Jesus came from. Although Christianity can be a comfort to some, it can also be very damaging and repressive, an insidious form of mind control that has led to blind acceptance of serfdom, poverty, and war throughout history. To this day, especially in the United States, it is used to create support for war in the Middle East.”

Atwill encourages skeptics to challenge him at Conway Hall, where after the presentations there is likely to be a lively Q&A session. Joining Mr.Atwill will be fellow scholar Kenneth Humphreys, author of the book “Jesus Never Existed.”

A subsidiary of fertilizer giant Scotts Miracle-Gro announced a deal Thursday to acquire General Hydroponics, a homegrown Sonoma County company that has become a major international supplier of liquid nutrients used to grow food, flowers and indoor marijuana.

Hawthorne Gardening Co., which was created by Scotts last fall to focus on indoor and urban gardening products, said it was buying Santa Rosa-based General Hydroponics and its sister company in Marysville, Bio-Organic Solutions, which sells organic soils and other gardening supplies under the Vermicrop brand.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Plant scientist Larry Brooke, a proponent of medical marijuana, founded General Hydroponics more than 35 years ago in Sebastopol and grew it into a company with worldwide distribution and manufacturing plants in Santa Rosa, West Virginia and France. His son-in-law, Ross Haley, has run General Hydroponics and Bio-Organic Solutions since 2011.

“I wasn’t looking to make the company to sell it,” Brooke said Thursday afternoon from Florida, where the two men were vacationing with their families. “I was making a company to serve the world and my need to be part of something that was fun.”

While he acknowledged the medical marijuana industry uses his company’s products, he said it has never been the company’s focus. Rather, he said his lifelong goal has been to perfect ways to grow food more efficiently on a planet whose resources are strained by an exploding population.

“However large a cannabis market may be, a fruit market is exponentially larger,” Brooke said.

It’s possible the trend toward legalization of marijuana could actually reduce the demand for the company’s products as growers move outdoors, Brooke said.

Hawthorne didn’t see value in any one particular hydroponic crop, but rather in the trend of more people looking to grow their own food, particularly in space-constrained urban environments, spokeswoman Kimberly Chisholm said.

“We are not uniformly looking at one industry and saying we’re making a bet on it,” Chisholm said.

Clinton hit with racketeering lawsuit over emails
It alleges that, during her tenure, Clinton withheld documents requested under FOIA regarding State Department waivers given to businesses or individuals doing business with Iran, possibly undermining U.S.-imposed sanctions. 

The complaint, which lists Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation as defendants, alleges the Clintons sold access to other U.S. government officials in return for donations to their organization, which they concealed, allegedly, by using a private computer server for her emails operated from their home in Chappaqua, New York. 

Larry Klayman, the founder of Freedom Watch, launched dozens of lawsuits against former President Bill Clinton’s administration.

In the new lawsuit, he alleges that, during Hillary Clinton's tenure, the State Department “clearly leaked” information to New York Times reporter David Sanger on U.S. and Israeli efforts to counteract Iran's nuclear weapons program.

“Public reports about plans to counter Iran’s nuclear weapons development programs undermined the effectiveness of those plans by revealing them to Iran and other terrorist organizations and states,” the complaint states.

The civil suit alleges the Clintons “systematically and continuously ... conducted a corrupt enterprise” over more than 10 years, allegedly in violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) Act, which deals with abuse and misuse of organizations or businesses. 

In a statement, Klayman cast his lawsuit as “the first and only hard-hitting case to address the growing email scandal.”

“What Hillary Clinton, her husband, and their foundation have done is nothing new. It is simply part of a criminal enterprise which dates back at least 10 years, all designed to enrich themselves personally at the expense of the American people and our nation. It's time, however, that they finally be held legally accountable,” Klayman said. 

Clinton acknowledged the private server earlier this month, explaining that she deleted more than 30,000 emails her aides deemed personal, and turned over the rest to the State Department for archiving.

The House select committee investigating the deadly 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, has asked Clinton to turn over her server to an independent arbiter. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has also demanded Clinton turn over the server but has so far not directed House Republicans to subpoena her records.

An annual security assessment presented to the U.S. Senate by James Clapper, the director of National Intelligence, has excluded Iran and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah from its list of terror threats to U.S. interests, despite both being consistently included as threats in previous years.

The unclassified report, issued by Clapper on February 26 and entitled the Worldwide Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Communities, was published by the Times of Israel amid Israeli concerns that Iran was omitted simply because of Tehran’s efforts to combat ISIS.

In a previous report from January 2014, Clapper included Iran and Hezbollah in the ‘Terrorism’ section, writing that both “continue to directly threaten the interests of U.S. allies. Hizballah [sic] has increased its global terrorist activity in recent years to a level that we have not seen since the 1990s”. Iran was also given its own sub-heading in the ‘Terrorism’ section of such assessments in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Yet in the latest report, Clapper omits both Iran and Hezbollah from this section, only mentioning the Shiite Muslim militant group once in reference to the threat it faces from radical Sunni groups - such as ISIS and the al-Nusra Front - on Lebanon’s borders. In regard to Iran, the report names it as both a cyber and regional threat to the U.S. because of its support for Syrian president Bashar al-Assad.

However, the report speaks of Tehran’s assistance in preventing “ISIL [another term for ISIS] from gaining large swaths of additional territory” in Iraq. It adds that the Islamic Republic has “intentions to dampen sectarianism, build responsive partners, and deescalate tensions with Saudi Arabia”.

The report fails to mention that Hezbollah is labelled as a terrorist organisation by both the U.S. and the European Union, while it receives the majority of its funding from Tehran. The omission comes as Washington and other world powers continue to negotiate with Iran to strike a deal over its nuclear program and capabilities.

The assessment adds that Iran has “overarching strategic goals of enhancing its security, prestige, and regional influence [that] have led it to pursue capabilities to meet its civilian goals and give it the ability to build missile-deliverable nuclear weapons, if it chooses to do so.”

The Israeli thinktank Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center has claimed that the removal of both actors from the U.S. terror assessment comes amid Iranian support in the fight against ISIS, where Tehran’s shadowyformer spymaster Qasem Soleimani is directing the offensive on the Sunni-majority city of Tikrit.

“We believe that this results from a combination of diplomatic interests (the United States’ talks with Iran about a nuclear deal) with the idea that Iran could assist in the battle against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq and maybe even in the battle against jihadist terrorism in other countries,” the NGO’s assessment of the report said.

Max Abrahms, professor of political science at Northeastern University and member at the Council of Foreign Relations, believes that the omission signals a “quid pro quo” between Washington and Tehran.

“I think that we are looking at a quid pro quo, where Iran helps us with counter-terrorism and we facilitate their nuclear ambitions and cut down on our labelling of them as terrorists,” says Abrahms. “The world has changed. The Sunni threat has gotten worse, the Islamic State is a greater danger than al-Qaeda ever was, and the Iranians have really come up big in terms of helping us out in combating the Islamic State.”

Hezbollah has been accused of responsibility for a number of terror attacks against U.S. or its partners interests, such as the 1983 bombings of the U.S. embassy and American military barracks in the Lebanese capital, Beirut; the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community centre in Argentina and the 2012 Burgas bus bomb on Israeli tourists in Bulgaria.

EXPERT: FBI MANIPULATED CRIME STATS TO SHOW INCREASE IN MASS SHOOTINGS
"I have been reading FBI reports for 30 years and I have never seen anything like this"
The Federal Bureau of Investigation purposely distorted its latest round of annual crime statistics in an attempt to make mass shootings appear more prevalent, an expert criminologist says.John Lott, president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, says the agency, which has strayed from bias in the past, appears to have edited the numbers for political reasons.

“The FBI put out a clearly incorrect set of numbers on public shootings shortly before the November election last year,” Lott told Fox News. “I have been reading FBI reports for 30 years and I have never seen anything like this.”

The statistics, published last September, claim that “mass shooter” incidents have seen a drastic rise between the years 2000 and 2013.

“FBI figures released last September appear to show so-called ‘mass shooter’ attacks and deaths have dramatically increased since 2000,” journalist Perry Chiaramonte writes. “The report asserted there were a total 160 such incidents in public places between 2000 and 2013, with attacks dramatically increased to 17 in 2013 from just one in 2000. The statistics also showed murders jumping to 86 from just seven over the span.”

According to Lott, all reports of standard “active shooting incidents” were combined with actual mass shooting events, making the latter appear to be vastly more frequent.

“It is one thing for the Bureau of Justice Statistics or the National Institute of Justice to put out politically biased studies, but there has always been a Chinese wall separating the FBI raw data collection from political pressures,” Lott stated.

After removing the manipulated numbers, Lott and the Crime Prevention Research Center say the revised statistics show a 50 percent decrease in the annual growth rate for homicides in mass shootings.

“The administration has obviously been willing to do a lot to push for gun control; with everything from ‘Operation Choke Point’ to ‘Fast and Furious,’ and this is just part of that push. Given the level of politicization in [the] Department of Justice, this is not particularly surprising,” Lott said.

Although a large number of Americans believe gun crime has risen due largely in part to media manipulation, in actuality, gun crime has plunged more than 75 percent in the last 20 years.

A Promising Alzheimer’s Treatment 

The results of a new study headed by Oxford University showed that vitamins B6, B12, and folic acid reduced brain atrophy, improved brain function, and dramatically reduced brain shrinkage in the part of the brain most affected in Alzheimer’s. (1) Study participants took 800 mcg of folic acid, 20 mg of B6, and 500 mcg of B12 over a 2-year period.

Here is what the spokesperson from the UK’s largest Alzheimer’s charity received this news with a big yawn and said this about the study:

“It’s too early to put everyone on B vitamins. The evidence for supplementing is just not there yet. We need bigger studies and more evidence that looks at what homocysteine is doing and what is actually going on in the brain.”

But the New England Journal of Medicine reported that high levels of homocysteine doubled the risk for developing Alzheimer’s in 2002, yet frustratingly little has been done with this information since then. (2)

Protect Your Brain Now 

You could wait for more studies to be done and for this information to be accepted by mainstream medicine, but frankly, if you wait for that it will be way too late to help.

So here is what you can do right now to protect your brain against homocysteine damage and possibly Alzheimer’s.

  • Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables like kale and collards, fruit, eggs, and organ meat for folic acid. Besides reducing homocysteine levels, folic acid is needed for the production of the neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin.
  • The best food sources of vitamin B6 include fish, poultry, bananas, carrots, spinach, peas, and  potatoes.  B6 is essential to manufacture the neurotransmitters serotonin, melatonin, epinephrine, norepinephrine, and GABA.
  • B12 deficiency can play a role in memory loss, dementia, mood changes, and depression. Once you reach age 50 or so, it becomes increasingly difficult to absorb B12 from food. The only reliable food sources of B12 are animal products — meat, fish, eggs, and dairy. So this is one vitamin vegetarians are likely to be deficient in.
  • Consider getting your homocysteine levels checked. You can ask your doctor to run the test, but be forewarned, he may try to talk you out of it. You can also order the test for yourself from an online lab. (I think ordering your own medical tests is a fantastic idea for anyone who is uninsured, underinsured, or just likes more control over their own health.) Ideally your levels should be below 7. If not, you need to take action now.

Vitamin B Supplementation

Most people do not eat a diet that supplies enough of the B-complex vitamins or, for various reasons, they do not absorb enough from what they eat. For instance, people who are under a lot of stress are universally low in B-vitamins. So if you suspect you are deficient in these brain-essential vitamins, you need to take supplements.

Interestingly, some people absorb folic acid better as a supplement than from food and many people, especially older folks, benefit from supplements because they don’t absorb the B12 from the food they eat.

Judge Mark Ciavarella Jr has been sentenced to 28 years behind bars for literally selling kids to prisons for profit.

As Blue Nation Review reports:

A Pennsylvania judge has been convicted of selling children into prison for cash. The former judge, 61-year old Mark Ciavarella Jr, was sentenced to 30 years for taking money under the table from a developer and jailing thousands of adults and juveniles, some as young as ten. Ciavarella made more than a million dollars selling people into incarceration.

Around 4,000 convictions issued by Ciavarella between 2003 and 2008 were overturned by The Pennsylvania Supreme Court, due to his violations of the juveniles’ constitutional rights – including the right to legal counsel and the right to intelligently enter a plea.

The Tallahassee O gives some background to the victims of the scheme:

Among the young people exploited by Ciavarella were 15-year-old Hillary Transue, who was sentenced to three months at a juvenile detention center for mocking an assistant principal on a MySpace page; and 13-year-old Shane Bly, who was sent to a boot camp for two weekends after being accused of trespassing in a vacant building.

Another judge, Michael T. Conahan, used his position to shut down the county-run juvenile detention center and redirect juvenile detainees to the private prisons. He pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy.
So who was paying cash for these kids? Robert Mericle, builder of the PA and Western PA Child Care juvenile detention centers.

Mericle was handed a one year prison sentence and fines of $2m for his part in the scheme.

Law enforcement agencies turning to StingRay

Not only are local police departments across the United States increasingly relying on so-called StingRay devices to conduct surveillance on cell phone users, but cops are being forced to keep quiet about the operations, new documents reveal.

Recent reports have indicated that law enforcement agencies from coast to coast have been turning to IMSI-catcher devices, like the StingRay sold by Florida’s Harris Corporation, to trick ordinary mobile phones into communicating device-specific International Mobile Subscriber Identity information to phony cell towers — a tactic that takes the approximate geolocation data of all the devices within range and records it for investigators. Recently, the Tallahassee Police Department in the state of Florida was found to have used their own “cell site simulator” at least 200 times to collect phone data without once asking for a warrant during a three-year span, and details about the use of StingRays by other law enforcement groups continue to emerge on the regular.

But while the merits of whether or not law enforcement officers should legally be able to collect sensitive cell information by masquerading as telecommunication towers remains ripe for debate — and continues for certain to be an issue of contention among civil liberties advocates — newly released documents raise even further questions about how cops use StingRays and other IMSI-catchers to gather great chunks of data concerning the whereabouts of not just criminal suspects, but seemingly anyone in a given vicinity that happens to have a phone in their hand or pocket.

Relentless pleas for details about use of IMSI-catchers by the Tacoma Police Department in Washington state paid off recently when the investigative news site Muckrock obtained a six-page document after following up for several months on a Freedom of Information Act request placed with the TPD.

According to the document, police in Tacoma were forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA, with the Federal Bureau of Investigation before they could begin conducting surveillance on cell users with a Harris-sold StingRay.

Although the majority of the December 2012 document is redacted, a paragraph from FBI special agent Laura Laughlin to Police of Chief Donald Ramsdell reveals that Tacoma officers were told they couldn’t discuss their use of IMSI-catchers with anyone.

“We have been advised by Harris Corporation of the Tacoma Police Department’s request for acquisition of certain wireless collection equipment/technology manufactured by Harris Corporation,” the FBI letter reads in part. “Consistent with the conditions on the equipment authorization granted to Harris Corporation by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), state and local law enforcement agencies must coordinate with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to complete this non-disclosure agreement prior to the acquisition and use of the equipment/technology authorized by the FCC authorization.”

Muckrock first obtained documents in August referring to the NDA between the Tacoma PD and the US Department of Justice, but Shawn Musgrave wrote for the site this week that the agreement itself — albeit a highly redacted one — were only provided last Friday.
“The Tacoma document provides key insight into the close cooperation among the FBI, Harris Corporation and the Federal Communications Commission to bar StingRay details from public release,” Musgrave wrote.

“The fact that the FBI received notification from Harris that TPD was interested in a StingRay reveals a surprising level of coordination between a private corporation and a federal law enforcement agency,”Musgrave continued. “The agreement also makes clear that completing the NDA is compulsory by order of the FCC.”

Alan Butler, an appellate advocacy counsel for the Washington, DC-based Electronic Privacy Information Center, or EPIC, was quick to comment to Muckrock about the information revealed by the FOIA request.

“What is so fascinating about the beginning paragraph of the NDA you received,” Butler said, “is that it makes clear that Harris, the FCC and the FBI are working together to facilitate the proliferation of these devices among state and local law enforcement agencies.”

“It’s not clear to me why the FCC would have an interest in requiring law enforcement agencies to sign NDA’s with the FBI, unless they were concerned that the spread of this technology could harm users of American communications networks,” added Butler, whose group has previously filed multiple FOIA requests and legal complaints on its own with the FBI over the use of IMSI-catchers.

And Matt Cagle, an attorney who specialized in surveillance an serves as a police fellow for the American Civil Liberties Union’s Northern California office, tweeted that it’s “alarming” to see that the FCC — a public agency — “is conditioning certification of cell spy tech” without informing the public.

As RT reported recently, the US Marshals Service recently intervened in a dispute between the police department in Sarasota, FL and the ACLU by seizing cell phone records collected by an cop-owned StingRay before the civil libertarians could review them.

“This is consistent with what we’ve seen around the country with federal agencies trying to meddle with public requests for Stingray information,” ACLU staff attorney Nathan Freed told Wired back in June. “The feds are working very hard to block any release of this information to the public.”

At the time, Wired reported that the ACLU believes that “dozens” of US police department have used StingRays under the caveat that they sign an NDA.

Iran’s Rouhani blames
‘Certain Intelligence Agencies’
 for rise of global extremism
The rise of violent extremism around the world is the fault of “certain states” and “intelligence agencies” that have helped to create it and are failing to withstand it, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in an address to the UN General Assembly.

Speaking at the 69th session of the UN General Assembly on Thursday, Rouhani stressed that extremism is not a regional but a global issue, and called on states worldwide to unite against the extremists.

“Certain states have helped to create it, and are now failing to withstand it. Currently our peoples are paying the price," he said. "Certain intelligence agencies have put blades in the hand of the madmen, who now spare no one.”

Rouhani also said the current anti-Western sentiment in certain parts of the world was "the offspring ofyesterday's colonialism. Today's anti-Westernism is a reaction to yesterday's racism.”

The Iranian president urged “all those who have played a role in founding and supporting these terror groups” to acknowledge their mistake.

Rouhani also blamed “strategic blunders of the West in the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus”for inciting violence in these regions and creating a “haven for terrorists and extremists.”

"Military aggression against Afghanistan and Iraq and improper interference in the developments in Syria are clear examples of this erroneous strategic approach in the Middle East."

Warning that “if the right approach is not undertaken in dealing with the issue at hand” the Middle East risks turning into “a turbulent and tumultuous region with repercussions for the whole world.”

"The rightsolution to this quandary comes from within the region and regionally provided solution withinternational support and not from the outside the region," he said.

Speaking of Iran’s nuclear program, Rouhani vowed that Tehran would continue negotiations to cement the deal with Western states.

“No one should doubt that compromise and agreement on this issue is in the best interest of everyone, especially that of the nations of the region,” he said. “According to all international observers, the Islamic Republic of Iran has carried out its commitments in good faith.”

Rouhani, who was elected in Iran’s presidential election last year despite being opposed by many in the country’s senior clergy, said that democracy cannot be exported to another country as it is a product of development, “not war and aggression.”

“Democracy is not an export product that can be commercially imported from the West to the East. In an underdeveloped society, imported democracy leads only to a weak and vulnerable government,” he told the assembly.

The Los Angeles Schools’ Police force has been given 61 M16 rifles, a multi-ton armored vehicle built to withstand bomb blasts, and three grenade launchers in the federal program that distributes military equipment free to police forces.

Following the uproar, the force is giving up its grenade launchers, but keeping the rest of its arsenal intact.

What the hell are school police doing armed with grenade launchers?

The Ferguson police were using uniforms and military grade weaponry handed to them by the same federal program, while the officers themselves had been trained by the Israeli police.  This creates the reality of police trained in the methods of military occupation, using the weapons of military occupation…on American citizens at home.

As the Washington Post reported:

As you may have heard, police and Swat teams in Ferguson, Missouri have fired tear gas and rubber bullets at peaceful protesters, and outlawed peaceful assembly.

Police are also using stun grenades and ear-damaging military sound cannons against peaceful protesters.

Reporters are among those shot at with rubber bullets and tear gas, assaulted and arrested.

And now, schools?

The US has the highest incarceration rate in the world.  The average state prisoner has a 10th grade education (aged 15), and about 70 percent have not completed high school. The US education system delivers disadvantaged children over to prisons for profit.  This is referred to as the school to prison pipeline — in which the school police departments have a major role.

The school to prison pipeline starts with underfunded public schools.  The schools are generally overcrowded and lack funding for qualified teachers, counselors, special educational needs resources and even textbooks.  The children are clear from the get-go that their education is not being invested in – and these schools are normally in disadvantaged areas in the first place.  There is no hope, no aspiration, no encouragement, no learning.

The implementation of ‘zero tolerance’ policies in schools have turned minor infractions into criminal offenses.  This saw suspensions treble between 1974 and 2001 – rising from 1.7m to 3.1m, and disproportionately impacting children of color.

A combination of major under resourcing and fear of school based shootings has seen an influx of police in schools.  Instead of teachers, many US schools now have ‘School Resource Officers‘ patrolling the hallways, criminalizing standard misbehavior. Again, children of color were disproportionately represented in the statistics – making up 70 percent of school arrests made.  So, what were these children arrested for?

  • In Fairfax County, six year old Salecia Johnson was handcuffed, charged with beating and placed in a holding cell for throwing a tantrum.
  • In Texas, twelve year old Sarah Bustamantes was arrested for spraying herself with perfume in a bid to stop bullies picking on her and saying she was smelly.
  • In Albuquerque, a 13 year old boy was handcuffed and hauled off to juvenile detention for burping in class.
  • A high school student had her arm broken by a school security guard after she left crumbs on the floor after dropping some birthday cake in the cafeteria.  She was then arrested for littering.
  • A seven year old student with special educational needs was pepper sprayed in the face by a police officer in school, for climbing onto a bookshelf.
  • In 2011, the NYPD (New York Police Department) arrested more than one student a day in the public school system, and 90 percent of those were black.
  • In 2010, the state of Texas alone issued 300,000 ‘Class C Misdemeanor’ tickets to US school children as young as six – resulting in fines, community service and even prison time.
Where children should be being educated about positive and negative behaviors, they are being criminalized as young as six years old.  Their educations are being suspended or ended due to these punishments and they are gifted to the prison system.

And now, the federal government is handing these police departments the tools of military occupation with which to patrol the hallways and classrooms of American schools.
Why Is The NSA Giving Israel
Private Info On Americans?

James Bamford recently revealed his conversations with Edward Snowden in an article published in the New York Times. His shared insight strikes serious concerns of credible threats against American citizens by Israel. In their conversation, Snowden revealed the National Security Agency was not only routinely collecting private communications from Americans, but have also been actively passing this confidential information to a top-secret Israeli military organization referred to as Unit 8200.

What is most concerning for Americans is the “protocol”—removal of personally identifiable information — for sensitive information exchange with foreign governments was entirely disregarded, disregarding Americans’ safety. This callous decision leads to the fair assumption that Israeli interests outweigh Americans constitutional rights and security. As a matter of fact, the failure to protect Americans personal information from foreign governments treasonously enables Israel to maliciously isolate, target, coerce, and even carry out extrajudicial assassinations of Americans citizens.

Bamford stated, “Mr. Snowden stressed that the transfer of intercepts to Israel contained the communications — email as well as phone calls — of countless Arab- and Palestinian-Americans whose relatives in Israel and the Palestinian territories could become targets based on the communications.”

Edward Snowden told James Bamford, “I think that’s amazing, it’s one of the biggest abuses we’ve seen.” A statement so startling coming from the National Security Agency whistleblower — who leaked hundreds of thousands of classified documents — cannot be brushed-off.  Put into context, “one of the biggest abuses” among thousands of documented abuses Snowden is aware of, reveals the extreme extent of violations practiced in this operation, which presents a significant threat to American targets.

As shocking of a discovery as this already is, Snowden’s statements to Bamford were apparently downplayed, confirmed by 43 veterans of Unit 8200. In fact, the veterans accused the organizations commanders of far greater abuses.                                                                         
“It appears that Mr. Snowden’s fears were warranted. Last week, 43 veterans of Unit 8200 — many still serving in the reserves — accused the organization of startling abuses. In a letter to their commanders, to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and to the head of the Israeli army, they charged that Israel used information collected against innocent Palestinians for “political persecution.” In testimonies and interviews given to the media, they specified that data were gathered on Palestinians’ sexual orientations, infidelities, money problems, family medical conditions and other private matters that could be used to coerce Palestinians into becoming collaborators or create divisions in their society,” Bamford Stated in his article yesterday.

Americans must ask, is the Obama Administration solely enabling vile abuses of Arab- and Palestinian-American citizens by Israel; or is the administration carrying out their targeted stalking, violating Americans privacy in collecting private data to carryout smear campaigns or coerce those opposing the status quo?

The evidence suggests that the first amendment is a perceived threat to the Obama administration’s political agenda.

“The document, from Gen. Keith B. Alexander, then the director of the N.S.A., notes that the agency had been compiling records of visits to pornographic websites and proposes using that information to damage the reputations of people whom the agency considers “radicalizers” — not necessarily terrorists, but those attempting, through the use of incendiary speech, to radicalize others,” stated Bamford.

The unfathomable government deceit, betrayal of American citizens, and threat to the founding principles shaping U.S. democracy has been uncovered and must be known by Americans. Americans must realize that the decision of the current Obama administration has placed Americans’ best interests second to Israel, consciously endangering them. AZ Republican Calls For Forced Sterilization
Of Women On Welfare, And Karma Bites…Hard

Arizona’s former Republican Senator Russell Pearce has been forced to resign as the party’s Vice Chair after arguing in favor of coercive sterilization of women in receipt of Medicaid, along with compulsory drug and alcohol tests.

Pearce made his awful remarks on Saturday, on the radio show of Arizona Democratic Party Executive Director DJ Quinlan.

“You put me in charge of Medicaid,” Pearce told one caller, “the first thing I’d do is get [female recipients] Norplant, birth-control implants, or tubal ligations. Then, we’ll test recipients for drugs and alcohol, and if you want to [reproduce] or use drugs or alcohol, then get a job.”

Nothing vague or ambiguous about that statement.

Quinlan promptly issued a press release on the exchange, demanding Arizona’s GOP leaders denounce Pearce’s views, and quickly they came as Republicans went into disaster recovery mode.

One such denunciation came from leading GOP strategist Sean Noble, who took to his Twitter account on Saturday to call for Pearce’s removal.

By 11 p.m. Sunday, the party was announcing his resignation — and Pearce was distancing himself from his own comments. In a written statement, Pearce argued that he had merely “shared comments written by someone else and failed to attribute them to the author.”

“This was a mistake,” he wrote, “This mistake has been taken by the media and the left and used to hurt our Republican candidates.”

A fine example of the public non-apology.

Arizona will likely be a better place without Pearce, who, as Senator, pioneered the state’s brutal anti-immigration laws which empowered racist sheriffs like the disgraced Joe Arpaio. Alternet provided a searing account of Arpaio’s force in action, which included:

  • Forcing Latino female detainees to sleep in their own menstrual blood
  • Assaulting pregnant women
  • Ignoring rape
  • Widespread use of racial slurs and racial profiling
  • The random unlawful detention and collective punishment of Latinos
Good riddance, Russell Pearce; don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
